The size of Celestia's blob has increased tenfold in the past two weeks

ChainCatcher message, in the past two weeks, the number of blobs on Celestia has continued to increase significantly. The blob size on Celestia can interchangeably refer to the number of blobs published on Celestia.

From June 20, 2024, to December 20, 2024, the average blob size on Celestia was approximately 1.18 GB. However, in the past two weeks, this number has nearly increased tenfold, averaging 11.4 GB. The nearly 10-fold increase in blob size may be due to the NFT minting that occurred during this period, as well as more projects choosing to use Celestia as a data availability layer.

Similarly, during this period, the daily transaction volume on Celestia has also increased significantly. In the same time frame (from June 20 to December 20), the average daily transaction volume on Celestia was about 44,000 transactions. In the past two weeks, this number has grown by over 60%, with an average daily transaction volume reaching 71,000 transactions.
