ChainCatcher news, according to Bloomberg, several tech industry executives plan to attend Donald Trump's presidential inauguration this month, indicating that the tech industry is seeking to strengthen its relationship with the new government. OpenAI CEO Sam Altman, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, and Uber CEO Dara Khosrowshahi have all confirmed their attendance at related events.

Coinbase Global Inc. stated that CEO Brian Armstrong has been invited to participate in inauguration-related events, including the presidential dinner. In addition to Altman, OpenAI President Greg Brockman and Chief Product Officer Kevin Weil also plan to attend the inauguration.

Furthermore, Meta and Amazon have each donated $1 million to Trump's inauguration fund and are shifting towards more favorable platform rules by adjusting policies such as weakening content moderation.
