U.S. stocks are closed today in honor of the 39th President Carter, and U.S. Treasuries closed early
ChainCatcher news, according to Sina Finance, the US stock market will be closed on January 9 (Thursday) in observance of a national day of mourning for the late 39th President of the United States, Jimmy Carter. Normal trading will resume on January 10 (Friday).
Trading in stock index futures under the CME will end early at 22:30 Beijing time; trading in interest rate and agricultural futures will end early at 02:15 Beijing time on January 10; trading in Treasury futures will end early at 03:30 Beijing time on January 10; trading in precious metals, energy, foreign exchange, and cryptocurrency futures will proceed as usual.
