ChainCatcher news, Binance founder Zhao Changpeng commented on Bhutan's establishment of a cryptocurrency strategic reserve in Greypool City (GMC), stating that this is not only a Bitcoin reserve but also includes a cryptocurrency reserve that encompasses ETH and BNB, setting a precedent that will surely inspire more followers in the future. This decision showcases Bhutan's open-mindedness and welcoming attitude towards other cryptocurrencies, making it a wise move to attract crypto businesses, investments, and innovation.

Zhao Changpeng emphasized that the Kingdom of Bhutan has been utilizing clean (surplus hydropower) energy for Bitcoin mining for many years, and has already accumulated a Bitcoin reserve.
