AI is undoubtedly the absolute main theme in the Crypto market recently, with various AI concept tokens rising sharply. So, how is the performance of AI NFTs? Which AI NFT projects are worth our attention? BlockBeats presents 13 AI NFT projects worth following.

ai16z partners

Although it originated from a NFT series created by community member @SOLsesame, it is clearly supported by ai16z officially.

Currently, it is unknown what specific utility it will have; the series itself is not AI narrative but has a close relationship with ai16z. The current floor price is close to 4 SOL, nearing its previous high.

zereborn

From the zerebro official, and it should be the first NFT series created by AI Agent. I believe the official endorsement + AI creation narrative makes zereborn's market value higher than ai16z partners, even though the market cap of $zerebro is currently nearly $1.5 billion less than that of $ai16z.

Currently, it is unknown what specific utility it will have; the floor price is close to 5.7 SOL.

Virtuals World

This is a Free Mint land series issued by Virtuals official in July 2024, with a total of only 100 pieces and no restrictions like white lists. Nevertheless, at that time, it even took nearly 20 minutes to mint out, and you once had the opportunity to buy in at such a low price:

With the explosive popularity of AI concepts, as the leading AI project on the Base network, this series has now soared. If it weren't for the limited supply, it would definitely be a strong contender for the biggest NFT play of 2024, but indeed very few NFT players have noticed this hundredfold NFT project because it is actually in the AI track, which is quite different.

2049 // Reflections

The official NFT series of Freysa AI, this is a limited NFT collection that operates autonomously in a Trusted Execution Environment (TEE), providing access to tools, seed prompts, and task objectives. The minting price of this series is 0.25 ETH, with a total of 2049 pieces, and the current floor price is close to 0.6 ETH, corresponding to a market cap of about $4.2 million, with its token $FAI having a market cap of nearly $370 million.

Smol Brains

This series, also known as "Magic Monkeys," is an old project that has existed since the last cycle and has always been the core PFP project of the Treasure DAO ecosystem.

In the past week, Smol Brains has risen fourfold, with the current floor price close to 0.4 ETH.

The reason for the rise of "Magic Monkeys" is still Shaw, as he was originally the developer of the Treasure DAO ecosystem, responsible for the Smol Brains game project Smol World. Smol World will be an AI game where each Smol Brains acts as an AI Agent in on-chain games, capable of stealing each other's assets for PvP, and the game will integrate with the Eliza framework.

The token $SMOL of Smol Brains has also risen up to eight times in the past week, and $SMOL will migrate to version V2 to enhance its utility in the Smol World game. Currently, the market cap of $SMOL is about $16.5 million.

Kemonokaki

This project might seem a bit forced to include, but it is worth paying attention to. Kemonokaki can be summarized in one sentence as the Milady on Base.

The reason for its rise in the past week is that it will enjoy the white list of daos.world's new project Daolympus World.

Additionally, in the ALCHDAO multi-signature, three members are from the daos.world team. ALCHDAO is a DAO focused on investing in tokenized AI agents and blockchain innovations.

Moreover, in July 2024, the official Twitter of Virtuals also mentioned Kemonokaki. Of course, this was quite some time ago, so it doesn't indicate much, but it shows Kemonokaki's status as the Base Milady.

Parallel Avatars

Parallel is a TCG (trading card game) on the Base chain, belonging to the Echelon Prime Foundation. In 2021, Parallel completed a $50 million financing led by Paradigm, with other investors including YouTube co-founder Chad Hurley, Focus Labs, OSS Capital, and Yunt Capital.

Parallel is already available for players to play. Beyond Parallel, the Echelon Prime Foundation is also developing a survival game called Parallel Colony that integrates ERC-6551 technology and allows players to collaborate with AI. Players can assign tasks to AI Agents, which will complete them independently, communicate with other AI Agents, and share their game ideas with players. AI Agents will also autonomously trade within Parallel Colony.

The initial AI Agent game characters need to be created through Parallel Avatars, and there will be mechanisms in the future for regular players to obtain AI Agent game characters to participate in the game. Currently, the floor price of Parallel Avatars is close to 1 ETH.

This game will open for testing in the first quarter of this year. In addition to Parallel Colony, Parallel has also launched an AI-driven full-chain automated trading tool @AIWayfinder, which has a strong AI betting vibe.

CryptoAgents

This is a series that has not yet been released, with a total supply of 10,000, Free Mint. In simple terms, this will be a NFT series created by AI Agents, but the difference is that this will be a fully on-chain NFT series, meaning the images are rendered through the smart contract code.

The project is launched by @punk3700, who is both the founder of the modular Bitcoin Layer2 project BVM and the founder of Eternal AI, a multi-chain AI layer.

Bossu

A new project, currently planned to mint on January 7, nicknamed "Shark Egg" in the Chinese-speaking community, as its cute image has attracted more attention from NFT players.

The information about this team @wawe_online is quite chaotic. The official website states it was established in 2019 as a digital art creative studio in Argentina, but LinkedIn shows its location as Chiang Mai, Thailand, while Behance shows it as China.

However, since this is a Free Mint series, the issue is not significant. Their token $BOSSU operates on the Eliza framework, with a current market cap close to $2 million. The NFT series itself is an IP image created by this studio over the years, not generated by AI Agents, but using AI Agents to operate the IP image and then generate images does reflect a development idea beyond just starting with an image.

xNomad

A new AI NFT project from NFTGo, yet to be released. In simple terms, it combines AI Agents with small images, allowing NFT holders to use their NFTs as AI Agents to invest, claim airdrops, etc., and the money earned by the small images can also be withdrawn.

It operates on the Eliza framework, and let's see if Shaw can take notice; if so, it would be more optimistic.

Botto

From here on, these are some projects that are quite different from the current mainstream AI narratives and are likely to attract the attention of NFT players.

Botto, old NFT players should have some impression of this project, which has been around since the last cycle. Botto is a decentralized AI artist that has been working since October 8, 2021. The AI creates 350 pieces of art each week, and the community votes on one final piece to be auctioned on SuperRare. Voting requires staking $BOTTO to gain voting points, and 40% of the auction proceeds are used to reward voters.

The community also decides the AI's creation themes through proposals, whether to introduce or remove the AI models used, allowing Botto to explore different artistic directions in different cycles.

This project can be considered to have survived both bull and bear markets, with six of Botto's works auctioned for a total of $351,600 at Sotheby's on October 24, 2024. Currently, the market cap of $BOTTO is about $31 million.

Neura

Neura is not a conventional AI image generation platform; in fact, the team behind Neura, Adanede, intends to create a decentralized, self-aware AI artist through self-funding. Neura will create art independently, but users can influence Neura's creations using Android NFTs. Different Android NFTs will grant Neura different artistic styles, making each user a unique node for Neura.

Currently, Neura has created its first series "The Memories" and completed a Free Mint. This series allows users to freely inspire the AI, which then reinterprets the user's basic sketches, essentially showcasing Neura's capabilities first, while the journey of developing the AI artist has not officially begun yet, so it is worth following.

These images are quite abstract… right?

This rough mosaic abstraction is because these works were created by the first text-to-image AI model in history. In 2015, 19-year-old Elman Mansimov achieved the first AI operation to generate images from text prompts through his alignDRAW model.

This is a pure art project, focusing on the narrative of AI development history. In 2024, this series reached a historical peak price of nearly 3 ETH, while the initial minting price was 0.1 ETH. Currently, the floor price of this series is about 1.66 ETH.
