Bitcoin's hash rate set a new record of 808 EH/s on New Year's Eve
ChainCatcher news, according to Bitcoin.com, the Bitcoin network's hash rate reached a new high of 808 EH/s (exahashes per second) on the last day of 2024. Data shows that as of January 1, 2025, the Bitcoin network is supported by 62 mining pools, with a current hash rate of 799.99 EH/s, and an increase of 262 EH/s in hash rate throughout 2024. As the hash rate grows, mining difficulty has also been adjusted upwards by 1.16% at the end of the year, reaching 1.0978 trillion.
