Pantera Partners: Expecting an increase in crypto venture capital in 2025, with more interest in crypto AI, DePIN, and new Layer 1
ChainCatcher news, according to The Block, Pantera Capital general partner Lauren Stephanian stated in an interview with The Block that crypto venture capital funding is expected to increase in 2025, as investors are more willing to deploy capital under the U.S. supportive policies for crypto management. However, she noted that "the bull market cannot last forever," and therefore "when we will start to see a slowdown in deployment next year" remains to be observed.
Stephanian emphasized that Pantera will continue to make extensive investments in the crypto and blockchain space, particularly showing strong interest in crypto AI, decentralized physical infrastructure networks (DePINs), and new Layer 1 blockchains, which can enable richer application layer functionalities.
