Vitalik donated 10 million Thai Baht to Khao Kheow Zoo in Thailand to develop a special exhibition area for Moo Deng

ChainCatcher news, Thailand's Khao Kheow Open Zoo posted on X that Vitalik Buterin has donated funds to support the zoo's operations, wildlife funding programs, and to develop a dedicated exhibition area for Moo Deng and its family.

The donation will be made in two installments, each amounting to 5,000,000 Thai Baht, totaling 10 million Thai Baht. The first donation will be completed on December 26, 2024. The date for the second donation and any additional donation amounts will be announced later, but no later than December 26, 2025.

Vitalik expressed hope that this donation will strengthen the friendship with Thailand and contribute to the local community.
