ai16z partner Shaw: ELIZA is operated by an independent team, has been recognized but is not an official project

ChainCatcher message, ai16z partner Shaw posted on X platform to explain the relationship structure between project-related entities:

• ai16z is a permissionless DAO, including $ai16z and $degenai;
• elizaOS is an open-source AI agent framework;
• Eliza Labs is responsible for building elizaOS;
• The ELIZA token is operated by an independent team, recognized but not an official project.

Shaw emphasized that the DAO is permissionless because it was fairly launched without entities, and there are no team allocations or venture capital or anything else. While recognizing and supporting the ELIZA token project, it is a different team from ai16z.

Shaw stated that the purpose of releasing this clarification is to avoid confusion in the community, and there have been no changes to the project itself.
