Gravity will adopt Chainlink CCIP as its standardized cross-chain infrastructure for Layer 1 blockchain, replacing LayerZero
ChainCatcher news, Gravity announced that during the launch process of its Layer-1 blockchain, it will upgrade from LayerZero to Chainlink CCIP as its standardized cross-chain infrastructure. This enhances the security and programmability of Gravity.
Key update highlights are as follows:
- The native token of Gravity, G, will become a cross-chain native asset (CCT), providing developers with self-service deployment, zero slippage transfers, and greater programmability, while maintaining the high security standards of CCIP.
- Chainlink CCIP, relying on its decentralized oracle network, will greatly enhance the ability of Gravity network developers to build secure cross-chain applications.
- CCIP supports programmable cross-chain messaging and token transfers, providing developers with the necessary tools to build cross-chain applications.
