"Stand with Crypto" advocates oppose Crenshaw's re-election, sending 107,000 emails to the Senate
ChainCatcher news, according to The Block, the nonprofit organization "Stand with Crypto" stated that approximately 107,000 emails from cryptocurrency supporters flooded the U.S. Senate in the past week, urging them to oppose the re-nomination vote of SEC Commissioner Caroline Crenshaw. Prior to this, the Senate Banking Committee's vote to re-nominate Caroline Crenshaw was canceled twice within a week.
Stand With Crypto Executive Director Logan Dobson said, "Continuing this nomination is a great first step in reversing the SEC's hostile attitude towards cryptocurrency and ushering in a new era of growth and innovation for cryptocurrency in the United States."
