The Aave protocol's TVL has reached a new high, but the coin price is still significantly below its ATH
ChainCatcher news, DeFiance Capital founder and CIO @Arthur_0x posted on social media that several metrics of the Aave protocol have reached new highs, but the current coin price is only 50% of its ATH price. Compared to 2021, the total supply of stablecoins is also significantly higher, which provides momentum for DeFi, and it is expected that the price of AAVE will push higher.
According to DeFiLlama data, the current TVL of Aave has surpassed the previous bull market in October 2021, reaching a historical high of 38.6 billion USD. The estimated annual revenue of the protocol is 117 million USD.
Additionally, according to CoinGecko data, AAVE is currently priced at 355 USD, with a 24-hour increase of 28.7%, a nearly 30-day increase of 87.5%, and a 1-year cumulative increase of 283.6%. However, it still needs to rise by 86.197% compared to its historical highest price (661.69 USD). Furthermore, the current market capitalization of AAVE is 5.327 billion USD, which still needs to increase by 49.296% compared to its historical peak (7.953 billion USD).
