Adidas and Stepn are shifting from NFTs to physical products, planning to launch sneakers this month
ChainCatcher news, according to The Block, the footwear and sportswear giant Adidas and its blockchain partner Stepn announced on Thursday that they will release a limited edition of physical shoes.
This move follows the announcement in April of Adidas's collaboration with the Solana-based fitness app Stepn to release 1,000 NFTs, which make up the Stepn x Adidas Genesis Sneakers collection.
Stepn stated in a press release that later this month, the two companies will launch "a limited edition of 1,200 pairs of Adidas Ultraboost 5 physical running shoes." The Adidas-Stepn shoes will only be available on the MOOAR marketplace.
