Cruise operator Virgin Voyages will accept Bitcoin as a payment method for its new services
ChainCatcher news, cruise operator Virgin Voyages announced the launch of a new "Annual Pass" program starting in 2025, while also declaring it will be the "first cruise product to accept cryptocurrency."
The company will accept Bitcoin as a payment method for the new service, with a standard prepayment of $120,000 per cruise, plus taxes and fees. There are currently no indications that the company will consider expanding its cryptocurrency options to stablecoins or other cryptocurrencies.
