ChainCatcher news, South Korean President Yoon Suk-yeol announced through a live broadcast at the presidential office in Yongsan, Seoul, early today (December 4) that he has decided to accept the National Assembly's request to lift the state of emergency. This comes just over 6 hours after he announced the implementation of the state of emergency on the evening of December 3.
The South Korean cabinet has agreed to lift the state of emergency.
