ChainCatcher news, according to the Financial Times, OpenAI is discussing plans to introduce advertising to its artificial intelligence products as the ChatGPT developer seeks new revenue sources. OpenAI's Chief Financial Officer Sarah Friar stated in an interview with the Financial Times that the AI startup is considering an advertising model and added that they plan to "exercise caution regarding when and where to implement ads."

In a statement following the interview, Friar added, "Our current business is experiencing rapid growth, and we see tremendous opportunities within our existing business model. While we are open to exploring other revenue sources in the future, there are currently no active plans to launch an advertising business."
