Metaplanet will provide a 30 million yen Bitcoin reward to eligible shareholders

ChainCatcher news, Japanese listed company Metaplanet and SBI Holdings subsidiary SBI VC Trade have provided more details about their shareholder benefit program, which aims to offer additional value to shareholders through Bitcoin-related rewards. CEO Simon Gerovich stated, "This program is part of our free Bitcoin initiative so that more people in Japan can experience Bitcoin."

Specifically, Metaplanet will distribute a Bitcoin reward of 30 million yen (approximately 200,000 USD) to its 2,350 shareholders. Among them, 50 winners will each receive Bitcoin worth 100,000 yen, 100 winners will each receive Bitcoin worth 30,000 yen, and 2,200 winners will each receive Bitcoin worth 10,000 yen.

Previous news, Metaplanet announced plans to raise up to 9.5 billion yen (approximately 62 million USD) through a new stock subscription right to accelerate Bitcoin accumulation.
