OpenAI adds SearchGPT option to Apple's "Shortcuts" app
ChainCatcher news, according to cnBeta, OpenAI has added the "Open SearchGPT" option to the "Shortcuts" app on iPhone and iPad, allowing users to launch the ChatGPT app and invoke the web search feature through shortcuts. Users need to update to the latest version of the ChatGPT app to enable the SearchGPT action in shortcuts.
The SearchGPT feature was first launched at the end of October this year, aimed at improving the web search experience by providing more relevant links and contextual information, while also supporting users in asking follow-up questions.
Currently, users with ChatGPT Plus and ChatGPT Teams can access the SearchGPT feature, and OpenAI plans to make it available to free users in the coming months.
