Tony Fadell was born in Detroit, Michigan, USA, and is a designer, inventor, entrepreneur, and venture capitalist. From 2006 to 2008, he served as the senior vice president of Apple's iPod division, leading the research and design of the iPod, which is why he is referred to as "the father of the iPod."
