The founders of these over 270 companies come from more than 20 countries and regions, including Japan, South Korea, the United States, Canada, Germany, the United Kingdom, and India, in addition to Hong Kong and the mainland.

According to a Legislative Council report, Cyberport's Web3 companies have begun to apply blockchain technology to real-world applications, including smart living, digital entertainment, fintech, and network and data security.
