ChainCatcher news, President-elect Trump confirmed on Monday that he will declare a national emergency to implement a large-scale (illegal immigration) deportation action. A post by Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton on Truth Social stated that Trump is "prepared to declare a national emergency and will utilize military assets to reverse Biden's 'invasion' through a large-scale deportation plan." Trump replied, "Correct!!"

It is reported that Judicial Watch is a non-profit organization in the United States that files lawsuits under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) to investigate misconduct by government officials and is dedicated to promoting transparency, integrity, and accountability in government, politics, and law.

Nevertheless, Politico reported that the Trump team is drafting an executive order that can withstand legal scrutiny to avoid the failures he encountered when trying to implement similar orders during his first term. The new administration also plans to terminate the parole program for undocumented immigrants from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua, and Venezuela. (Jin Shi)
