CoinShares: Last week, net inflows into digital asset investment products reached $2.2 billion

ChainCatcher news, according to CoinShares' latest weekly report, last week saw a net inflow of $2.2 billion into digital asset investment products, bringing the total inflow for the year to a record $33.5 billion. Driven by Bitcoin's price reaching an all-time high, assets under management (AuM) hit a new high of $138 billion.

In terms of specific assets, Bitcoin saw an inflow of $1.48 billion, but there was also $49 million flowing into short products. Ethereum reversed its previous downturn, with inflows of $646 million influenced by the Beam Chain network upgrade proposal and the U.S. elections, accounting for about 5% of its assets under management. Additionally, Solana also received an inflow of $24 million.

From a regional distribution perspective, the U.S. saw an inflow of $2.2 billion, while Hong Kong, Australia, and Canada had inflows of $27 million, $18 million, and $13 million, respectively. Meanwhile, investors in Sweden and Germany chose to take profits, with outflows of $58 million and $6.8 million, respectively.
