Three sources stated that Trump's donor, tech entrepreneur with social ties to Musk, and former Uber executive Emil Michael has emerged as a leading contender.
Seven sources mentioned that other candidates include Missouri House Representative and Chair of the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee Sam Graves, outgoing Louisiana Republican Congressman Garret Graves, and former Wisconsin Congressman Sean Duffy, who is currently a Fox News host.
