ENS Labs will launch the L2 network Namechain, expected to go live by the end of 2025
ChainCatcher news, according to CoinDesk, Ethereum Name Service (ENS) parent company ENS Labs plans to launch its own L2 network Namechain, expected to go live around the end of 2025.
ENS Labs Chief Operating Officer Katherine Wu stated that Namechain will utilize Zero-knowledge Rollups technology to accelerate blockchain transactions and reduce execution costs by compressing the amount of on-chain data published. This technology allows Namechain to process and execute transactions outside of the Ethereum mainnet while maintaining Ethereum's full security.
