Trump says he will not invite former rival Haley and former Secretary of State Pompeo to join his government
ChainCatcher news, according to Caixin, the elected President Trump stated on November 9 local time that he will not invite former Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley and former Secretary of State Pompeo to join his administration.
Haley served as the Governor of South Carolina and was the U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations during Trump's presidency. Pompeo served as the Director of the Central Intelligence Agency and Secretary of State during Trump's term, and he was also seen as a potential Republican presidential candidate, but he announced in April 2023 that he would not run.
