According to the Web3 asset data platform RootData, [mETH Protocol](https://www.rootdata.com/zh/Projects/detail/mETH Protocol?k=MTQxMzA= "ETH liquid staking protocol") is a permissionless, non-custodial ETH liquid staking protocol deployed on Ethereum L1 and managed by Mantle. Users stake ETH to receive mETH. Unstaking mETH allows users to receive the underlying principal of the staked ETH along with accumulated rewards.
