The Republican Party has won 210 House seats and is about to further expand its advantage after winning the White House and the Senate

ChainCatcher news, according to Coindesk, the Republican Party in the United States seems to continue controlling the House of Representatives, completing a three-peat after turning around the Senate and the White House in the 2024 election cycle.

As of the time of publication, the Associated Press has reported on 409 seats (out of a total of 435), with the Democrats winning 199 seats and the Republicans winning 210 seats. The party that first reaches 218 seats will win the majority.

According to the Associated Press, as of 6:30 PM Eastern Time on Thursday, the Republicans are leading in at least 14 of the remaining 27 races, which means that if these results hold, they will maintain a majority for at least the next two years.
