Florida Secretary of State: Over 8.9 million voters have completed their ballots, results will be announced that night
ChainCatcher news, according to CNN, Florida Secretary of State Cord Byrd announced that as of the morning of that day, over 8.9 million voters in the state had completed their voting, including 8.3 million early and mail-in ballots, as well as an additional 560,000 ballots cast on the day.
Byrd stated that all 67 counties in the state were operating normally, all polling places were open as scheduled, and voting was expected to end at 7 PM Eastern Time, with election results to be announced that evening.
