Morph mainnet early access, a comprehensive guide to the Morph ecosystem projects and interaction instructions
Written by: Web3 Farmer Frank
On October 30, the global consumer-grade public chain Morph officially launched its mainnet. During the transition from testnet to mainnet, the community's enthusiasm remained high, with over 6 million users participating and recording over 100 million transactions.
For a public chain project that focuses on a "consumer-grade ecosystem," Morph's future token issuance and mainnet interaction activities will undoubtedly benefit community users. Therefore, this article will provide a detailed mainnet interaction guide to help both newcomers and experienced users quickly get started with the ecosystem projects, allowing them to experience and gain potential airdrop opportunities in advance.
Morph Mainnet Early Interaction Guide
For ordinary users, the first step is to configure the Morph mainnet in their wallets. Here are the steps to complete the Morph mainnet configuration in commonly used wallets:
1. Complete Morph Mainnet Configuration in Wallet
1. Bitget Wallet
Bitget Wallet completed the integration of the Morph mainnet as soon as it launched. Users do not need to configure it manually and can easily switch to the Morph network in the Bitget Wallet app and plugin for mainnet asset management and transfers:
Open Bitget Wallet and go to the "Wallet" tab.
Click the mainnet dropdown menu and select "Add Mainnet."
Search for and select "Morph" from the list—if you need to add the testnet, you can choose "Morph Holesky";
2. MetaMask / OKX Web3 Wallet, etc.
Visit the Morph Block Explorer page, click the "Add to Wallet" button, and it will automatically import the Morph mainnet's Chain ID and RPC URL;
3. Manual Network Configuration
If there are compatibility issues with the "Add to Wallet" link, you can choose to manually add the Morph mainnet. The manual configuration requires the following information:
By following the above steps, we can quickly complete the Morph mainnet configuration, facilitating subsequent application interactions within the Morph ecosystem.
2. A Sneak Peek into the Morph Mainnet Ecosystem
After the launch of the Morph mainnet, some of the native projects from the previous testnet have already been migrated to the mainnet, while others are still in the migration process.
Therefore, this article will explore a series of Morph applications, including DeFi, NFT, DePIN, and consumer-related projects, and their interaction methods.
Morph Bridge
Morph Bridge is the official cross-chain bridge of Morph, allowing token cross-chain operations between Ethereum and the Morph mainnet (additionally, we can also use third-party cross-chain bridges that support the Morph mainnet, such as Orbiter Finance, for cross-chain operations).
Select the token and corresponding amount, and on the "Deposit" page, transfer ETH from Ethereum to the Morph mainnet; the "Withdraw" page works in the opposite direction.
BulbaSwap
BulbaSwap is a liquidity protocol on the Morph mainnet, where we can use ETH and USDT that were previously cross-chained to Morph for regular Swap and Pool (adding liquidity to LP) operations.
For example, to exchange 10 USDT for ETH: first authorize the USDT contract call, and after completion, confirm the Swap, resulting in an exchange of 0.00407808 ETH.
As we can see, the fees on the Morph mainnet are currently very low, with this transaction costing less than $0.08.
Next, open the "Pool" page, click "Add V2 Liquidity," select USDT and ETH, input 0.1 ETH, and it will automatically match the amount of USDT to create the LP. Finally, click "ADD LIQUIDITY" and confirm in the wallet.
To remove liquidity later, you can select the corresponding LP position in your holdings, then click "Remove" and confirm.
Abra Finance
Abra Finance is a money market on Morph that allows us to experience crypto asset lending similar to Aave. It has not yet migrated to the mainnet, so we will use the testnet interaction process as an example.
First, you can open the "Dashboard" page, select WETH in "Assets to supply," and then click to deposit.
Subsequently, you can enable the collateral lending feature for the deposited crypto assets (turn on the "collateral" switch), allowing you to select other crypto assets for collateral lending on the "Assets to borrow" page.
You can also view, track, and manage your on-chain lending positions in real-time.
Morpha.nft
"Morpha.nft" is the NFT trading market on the Morph mainnet, allowing users to search for and select any NFT series for buying and selling.
Currently, the floor prices of various NFT series are relatively low, mostly below 0.01 ETH. Users can click on any collection, and those marked as Listed are the orders from other users under this collection. Clicking on the image will take you to the NFT detail page to view attributes, holders, trading royalties, and trading history. On the collection page, clicking the bottom popup allows for quick purchases, and it also supports selecting multiple NFTs for bulk purchases.
Taking the currently highest market cap "Blind Box Miracle" as an example, we can choose any NFT listed for sale, click "Buy," and complete the purchase with a wallet signature; selling works the same way, click "Sell" to list it for sale.
In addition, Morpha innovatively provides free market-making tools, catering to various types of users and facilitating NFT projects to actively maintain market value.
Owlto Finance
Owlto Finance is a cross-chain and liquidity exchange protocol, where the cross-chain bridge allows operations between Morph and other supported regional blockchains:
Select the network and corresponding token, click "Send" to transfer ETH from Ethereum to the Morph mainnet.
Kayak Finance
Kayak Finance is a DEX protocol that allows adding liquidity with testnet tokens to mine KAY tokens. It has not yet migrated to the mainnet, so we will use the testnet interaction process as an example.
We can first click on "Testing Token" in the upper right corner, sign the transaction in the wallet to obtain testnet tokens—100 Mock-USDT, then click "Pool" and select the liquidity pool for the "Mock USDC-Mock USDT" trading pair.
Input 50 Mock USDC, and it will automatically match the amount of Mock USDT to create the LP. Finally, click "Deposit" and confirm in the wallet.
Standard Protocol
Standard Protocol is an order book trading DEX that allows users to trade ETH and other tokens in the form of limit orders/market orders. It has not yet migrated to the mainnet, so we will use the testnet interaction process as an example.
For limit trading, first, select the ETH/USDT trading pair, choose "Sell ETH," then input the number of tokens you want to trade and the listing price, automatically obtaining the exchange result. Click "Review order" to view the order and sign to complete the transaction.
Soccersm
Soccersm is a prediction market for trading the future prices of cryptocurrencies, sports match results, political elections, and more. It has not yet migrated to the mainnet, so we will use the testnet interaction process as an example.
First, you need to obtain your personal exclusive 5000 Balls through the faucet in the "Dashboard," and then you can choose the prediction events you want to participate in for on-chain betting.
Taking the prediction related to the 2024 U.S. election, "Harris will be the winner of the 2024 U.S. presidential election," as an example, selecting "Predict Win" and "Predict Lose" corresponds to different odds. The total betting amount has reached 402,600 Balls.
KaBoom
KaBoom is a consumer-grade DeFi application based on the Telegram Mini App, where users can first select the Morph mainnet and then trade meme coins.
First, enter the Telegram Mini App, bind your email, and set a PIN code. Then select the "Morph" network, deposit ETH (by sending funds to the corresponding personal deposit address), and click boom to start quick trading.
It is worth noting that on the same day the mainnet launched, Morph also partnered with TaskOn to launch a two-week mainnet exploration event called "Dwellers of the Rainforest," where users can earn rewards by exploring DApps and completing tasks.
Ordinary users can participate in specific tasks to earn rewards, including completing designated tasks (such as following social media accounts, sharing specific content, etc.). Upon successfully completing the tasks, users will receive corresponding rewards, which may include points, tokens, or other forms of incentives.
Overall, with the official launch of the Morph mainnet, the token issuance is just a "step away." For ordinary users, this means that actively participating in various activities within the Morph ecosystem not only allows for the accumulation of points but also potentially lays the foundation for future token airdrops.
Earlier, during the "Genesis Jungle" event, Morph clearly stated that the total points earned by users will serve as an important basis for future airdrops and exclusive rewards, making early ecosystem interactions particularly valuable.
During this critical period, by configuring wallets, completing interaction tasks, and continuously following ecosystem dynamics, users can gain a competitive advantage in participation. For ordinary users looking to obtain potential benefits, now is an excellent opportunity to lay out and deeply engage in the Morph ecosystem, warranting long-term attention.
