Bitcoin against BlackRock U.S. Treasury ETF recently hit an all-time high
ChainCatcher news indicates that Bitcoin has recently reached an all-time high against the BlackRock U.S. Treasury ETF. Last week, as BTC approached its historical peak of over $73,000 in March, its trading price reached 800 times the value of the BlackRock iShares 20+ Year Treasury ETF (TLT), surpassing the 466 times it reached during its peak in November 2021.
Analysis suggests that the lack of incentives for price increases may be the reason why this ETF (with total assets of $60 billion) has fallen 7% this year while Bitcoin has risen 55%. The relative performance may indicate that investors are considering reallocating part of their portfolios from long-term U.S. Treasuries to Bitcoin. (CoinDesk)
