Data: Over 64 million voters in the United States have cast early ballots for the presidential election

ChainCatcher News, data from the Election Lab at the University of Florida shows that as of the evening of October 31 local time, more than 64 million voters across the United States have cast early votes for the 2024 presidential election.

The data indicates that nearly 30.01 million mail-in ballots have been returned nationwide, while there have been over 34.24 million ballots cast in person at early voting sites. Additionally, data released from key swing states that could determine the election outcome shows a significant increase in the number of Republicans voting by mail or in person early, with a higher number of ballots submitted by Republicans in Arizona, Nevada, and North Carolina, while Democrats submitted more ballots in Pennsylvania.
