ChainCatcher news, CryptoQuant CEO Ki Young Ju posted on the X platform stating that South Korean government officials claim that 10% of South Korea's trade transactions use stablecoins.

USDT accounts for 72% of the stablecoin market, primarily on the TRON blockchain, which may be due to its fast speed and lower fees compared to ETH. For whatever reason, the market has chosen Tether and TRON; they have found a product-market fit.
