Tangent co-founder: Being overly dogmatic is a fatal weakness of many excellent crypto founders
ChainCatcher news, Tangent co-founder and former Spartan partner Jason Choi stated on X that dogmatism is a fatal weakness of many originally excellent founders in the crypto space.
"The developer should want this" or "the user should need this" are dangerous thoughts. Just think about how many public chains have founders who emphatically emphasize their unique trade-offs, only to find that no one is interested. And look at those DeFi products, which, although targeting a large scale of traditional financial services, have no appeal in the crypto world.
The line between being a pioneer and being out of touch with reality is often blurred. To avoid this, there are no shortcuts; one must engage deeply with frontline users.
