Coinbase partners with multiple sports leagues
ChainCatcher news, Coinbase announced in October a partnership with the Canadian Football League, the Golden State Warriors of the National Basketball Association (NBA), and the Nike Melbourne Marathon Festival. According to Warriors Chief Business Officer Mike Kitts, the partnership with Coinbase aims to "leverage blockchain technology to build fan communities." The cryptocurrency exchange has already reached agreements with the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA), NBA, NBA G League, and NBA 2K League.
