Deribit large options data: A user sold ETH 2600 call options expiring at the end of November, totaling 2250 ETH
ChainCatcher news, according to data released by Deribit officials: today’s largest ETH block options trade involved a user selling ETH call options with a strike price of $2600 for the end of November, totaling 2250 ETH.
Officials explained that the user likely took advantage of the high implied volatility (IV) before the U.S. elections, selling call options to generate profit. If the price at delivery is below $2750, they will profit, achieving a coin-based return of 6.25%.
