Survey: U.S. bankers surveyed support Trump but predict Harris will win

ChainCatcher news, according to Cointelegraph, based on recent survey data, U.S. banking professionals slightly favor Trump, but most expect Harris to take office in the White House in January next year.

The publisher of American Banker, Arizent, collected survey data from 191 U.S. banking respondents, finding that 59% (about 112 people) believe Harris is the frontrunner. However, when asked which administration, Trump or Harris, would be more beneficial for the banking industry, 58% of respondents indicated that a Trump administration would be more favorable to them.

According to American Banker: "Interestingly, 58% of the surveyed bankers believe that the Trump administration is more beneficial for their industry and individual companies, while 35% think Harris is the most beneficial for the banking sector. A similar sentiment was also found in questions regarding which election outcome would bring the best results for regulatory and policy matters as well as for the country as a whole."
