The Uniswap Foundation Security Fund aims to change the way projects building Uniswap v4 hooks access security audits. By creating a market with vetted provider competition, the auditing process is streamlined, and overall costs are expected to decrease. The market will allow shortlisted projects to obtain audit quotes from whitelisted providers, ensuring transparency and competitive pricing. Projects will then select a provider, and the Uniswap Foundation will subsidize the full cost of the audit for eligible selected projects.
