The real-time trading test of Korea's CBDC is expected to officially start at the beginning of next year
ChainCatcher news, the Bank of Korea, Financial Services Commission, and Financial Supervisory Service are scheduled to conduct real CBDC transaction tests with 100,000 ordinary citizens and commercial banks in December. Due to the banks' own system reforms, it has been postponed to early next year. The actual transaction tests will be conducted after the bank system restructuring and security checks are completed, followed by beta testing.
