Orderly Network responds to the "suspected Rug of IBXtrade" incident: has not supported IBXtrade or its tokens
ChainCatcher message, Orderly Network responded to the "suspected Rug of IBXtrade" incident, stating: "We do not support IBXtrade or its tokens; any other insinuations are false. Orderly is investigating this situation and will take necessary steps to support the community. Meanwhile, we will cut off any future cooperation with IBXtrade."
It is reported that earlier today, DeFi analyst Anon Vee posted on social media that multiple users reported that the Orderly Network ecosystem project IBXtrade is suspected of being a Rug. IBXtrade launched its presale 3 days ago, planning to raise 2000 SOL (approximately 3.2 million USD) and refund unselected presale participants. The presale ultimately oversubscribed to over 160,000 SOL (24 million USD), and participants originally expected the project to refund 21.8 million USD. However, the IBXtrade team created a poll on a website completely controlled by themselves, asking whether to increase the presale cap. The poll was ultimately passed, and IBXtrade claimed to have refunded 65,000 SOL (9.7 million USD) to presale participants, but in reality, the team merely sent these SOL to multiple addresses they created, and users reported not receiving refunds.
