Tether: The number of new users in Q3 2024 reached 36.25 million, setting a new record

ChainCatcher news, Tether released a latest article stating that the adoption rate of USDT has significantly increased. As of the end of the third quarter of 2024, there have been 330 million on-chain wallets and accounts (equivalent to the number of users) that have received USDT, a figure comparable to the population of the United States. Moreover, this does not include users who only use USDT on centralized platforms; according to partner data, there are still tens of millions of such users.

The growth in the number of users continues to accelerate, with each quarter seeing more new users than the previous one. In fact, the average growth rate over the past four quarters has been 9%. The number of new users in the third quarter of 2024 reached a record high of 36.25 million.
