ChainCatcher news, the meme coin Goatseus Maximus (GOAT) reached a market cap of $150 million in less than four days (currently down to $133 million), following rumors that it was launched by the AI robot "Truth Terminal" funded by a16z.

Its creator Andy Ayrey stated in a post on October 13 that the robot was not directly responsible for launching the GOAT token but was involved in its promotion.

Ayrey reiterated that Truth Terminal is not a crypto project, but rather "focused on researching the phenomenon of meme contagion and the tail risks of unsupervised infinite creativity in the era of large language models."
"This meme coin's rise proves the argument I am building for a company focused on AI calibration and safety. This is my main source for acquiring game skins—I've also bought some GOAT, and someone sent me an airdrop," Ayrey added.
