ApeCoin DAO initiated a proposal to dissolve four working groups, including governance, Web3 development, and the metaverse
According to ChainCatcher news, information from the Snapshot governance page shows that the ApeCoin DAO has initiated proposal AIP-466, which aims to close unnecessary working groups. According to the proposal, it is expected that four working groups will be closed (with an annual expenditure of nearly $3 million), namely:
- Dissolution of the Governance Working Group: This working group is mainly responsible for formulating guidelines and the governance working group charter (AIP-239);
- Dissolution of the Marketing and Communication Working Group: This working group is mainly responsible for the working group charter - Marketing and Communication (AIP-246);
- Dissolution of the Metaverse Working Group: This working group is mainly responsible for the Metaverse working group charter, etc. (AIP-245);
- Dissolution of the Web3 Development Working Group: This working group is mainly responsible for the working group charter - Web3 Development (AIP-376).
It is reported that the voting end date for this proposal is October 17, and the current approval rate is 98.19%.
