Khosla Ventures raises over $400 million to invest in OpenAI's $6.6 billion funding round
ChainCatcher news, according to informed sources and a regulatory document, venture capital firm Khosla Ventures has raised a $405 million special purpose vehicle (SPV) to invest in OpenAI's $6.6 billion funding round.
Informed sources revealed that the SPV will consist of funds from Khosla Ventures and external investors. Venture capitalists typically support startups, but they also pool funds through SPVs to participate in later funding rounds.
Previously, projects that Khosla Ventures has invested in include: NEAR ecosystem blockchain infrastructure company Calimero Network, Worldcoin, investment app Seashell, Chain (XCN), and others.
