VanEck investment manager: Crypto projects should emulate the four key characteristics of Memecoins
ChainCatcher message, VanEck portfolio manager Pranav Kanade emphasized on X that Memecoins have four key aspects that all teams in the cryptocurrency space should learn from.
- Simplicity: Many teams over-design their tokens without realizing that: time + capital + attention = scarcity.
Last year, about 600,000 tokens were issued, intensifying the competition for the aforementioned scarce resources due to the ease of token issuance.
Instead, the focus should be on: simple token design, a clear vision, and demonstrating how the execution of that vision creates wealth for token holders.
High liquidity, low fully diluted valuation (low entry valuation);
Founder/team alignment: We can only become wealthy by achieving goals/delivering products as promised;
High transparency (for example, disclosing the cost basis of venture capitalists, which is often hard to find).
