BitMEX Research: The email evidence from the documentary does not fully prove that Peter Todd is Satoshi Nakamoto

ChainCatcher message, BitMEX Research stated in its analysis of the HBO documentary on the identity of Satoshi Nakamoto that the "block space war" presented in the documentary includes criticisms from Bitcoin.com co-founder Roger Ver towards former Bitcoin Core developer Peter Todd for supporting small blocks.

The former indicated that in the leaked "John Dillion" emails, the latter was working for a three-letter agency to implement the Replace By Fee plan. However, the emails indicate that John Dillion did not collaborate with intelligence personnel when dealing with Todd.

In this regard, BitMEX Research believes that the documentary attempts to present these nonsensical claims as evidence that Todd is Satoshi Nakamoto, despite having no relation to Satoshi Nakamoto.
