Infinex raised $65.3 million through NFT sales and partnered with Wormhole to achieve cross-chain functionality
ChainCatcher news, the DeFi platform Infinex has announced that it has chosen Wormhole as its primary multi-chain infrastructure provider. Wormhole's interoperability platform connects over 30 blockchains, while Infinex's platform currently supports 6 blockchains: Ethereum, Polygon, Base, Optimism, Arbitrum, and Solana.
The platform recently raised $65.3 million through the sale of "Patron NFTs," selling a total of 41,252 NFTs, with buyers including retail investors, Solana Ventures, Breyer Capital, as well as industry figures like Solana founder Anatoly Yakovenko and Aave founder Stani Kulechov.
Infinex was founded by Synthetix founder Kain Warwick, aiming to simplify the use of multi-chain DeFi protocols and eliminate the complexities of managing multiple wallets and paying gas fees, with its TVL exceeding $125 million.
