ChainCatcher news, EigenLayer officially stated on X that an isolated incident occurred this morning, where an investor's email regarding the transfer of belonging tokens to a custody address was hijacked by hackers. The hackers replaced the specific address in the email, resulting in 1,673,645 EIGEN tokens being incorrectly transferred to the hacker's address. The hackers have sold these stolen EIGEN tokens through decentralized trading platforms and transferred the stablecoins to centralized exchanges.

Previous news, Lookonchain monitoring showed that a certain address received 1.67 million EIGEN from the Eigenlayer team wallet and completely sold them at a price of $3.3, totaling approximately $5.51 million.
