Andre Cronje: Discovered a certain $1 billion FDV project using his open-source code while vehemently denying it

ChainCatcher message, Andre Cronje, a board member of the Fantom Foundation and the current CTO of Sonic Labs (formerly Fantom), stated on social media that he just saw a project with a $1 billion TVL and a $1 billion FDV, which clearly uses the open-source code he wrote (under GPL3) and obtained a BUSL license.

Andre Cronje expressed that he can accept not being recognized, can let them remove his name from the code, and can also accept that they do not mention him or the original project anywhere on the website or documentation, and he is willing to go to great lengths to rename certain concepts to avoid any association. However, taking something from open source and making it restrictive, while the project earns a lot of money from it, indicates that the changes in this field are much greater than he imagined.
