ChainCatcher news, according to TechCrunch, Elon Musk's artificial intelligence startup xAI has recently moved into a new office in San Francisco's Mission District: located in the same building as OpenAI's headquarters, which had been based there for many years.

Musk's lawyer recently claimed in a lawsuit that he initially rented this office while working as an employee of OpenAI and has been paying for it ever since. Reports indicate that Musk listed the building for sublease in August, while OpenAI moved to a new office just four blocks away.

On Tuesday evening, xAI held an open house event in the new office, just a few hours after OpenAI's developer day event concluded. xAI employees told an attendee that they had just moved into the office on Monday, but would still be working most of the time at xAI's office in Palo Alto.

Musk recently stated that he would be moving his companies from California to Texas, but xAI may be an exception.
