CryptoQuant Founder: Cryptocurrency and Web3 are not scams as long as they are well-regulated
ChainCatcher news, CryptoQuant founder Ki Young Ju posted on X that as long as cryptocurrency and Web3 are well-regulated, they are not scams.
Ki Young Ju stated: "Web3 achieves borderless collaboration and value creation through token-based incentives, functioning more like a protocol than a company. This marks a revolution in the way humans cooperate. While multinational companies like Google employ hundreds of thousands, Web3 protocols could one day involve millions.
Scams do exist, just like in any financial sector, but this should not overshadow the immense potential of blockchain technology. With smart regulation, Web3 can transform into a stable and trustworthy space. With the right rules, Crypto and Web3 can thrive responsibly. One day, the government will make this happen.
The question is, how long will it take? That’s why I prefer politicians who are interested in cryptocurrency, even if some of their views are extreme. Without interests, nothing can be done, and regulation will not develop. This is the current situation in South Korea. I hope politicians can speak freely about cryptocurrency to drive progress."
